I LEFT MY HEART IN ERIS!

as if on the run, tonight i visit phonebooths. a squalid terminal of besmirched plexiglass and pale solace. itching cold somewhere between prehistory and a fast-forward future i never settled down, after the sunset '97 i pick up the phone and put it to my lips, i step outside of time and bite my tongue as i punch in a random sequence of digits and passively listen to the ringing: always the ringing, the incessant, disconsonant ringing. a searching inside for what is neither. a little more distance is not enough to celebrate with. abruptly my call is taken, and i exhale my flighty, lightheaded questions, HAY DO YOU CONSIDER ME AN UNSTABLE PERSON WHY NOT? you're making a mistake.
