KAT M.
-headache-
i see her.
and i cannot be thin enough.
i am dirty
and desperate
and ugly
and like it that way
because i feel free
to be dirty and desperate
and ugly.
-morning-
you smoke and i don't.
but i like it, like me, on you;
mixed with your perfume,
charcoal and sugar,
a delicious aroma of
home on my tongue.
or when we lay in bed for hours
awake, but not ready to face the day
you playfully groan in protest of the morning, hiding under the covers,
and you take
me
with you.
